The "Bicycle Man" Receives Donation from the
HBA of Fayetteville, Inc.
Home Builders Association of Fayetteville donates $6,041 to Moses Mathis, the “Bicycle Man”. Proceeds from their annual Casino Night event raise money to give back to the community and this year the committee chose the “Bicycle Man” for his continued service to the children of our community through his bicycle program.
The bicycle giveaway is a program under the Tiffany Pines Community Outreach Center whose mission is to take kids from drug infested neighborhoods, introduce them to a positive environment, and build confidence, self-esteem and good work habits. The center has been serving the community for fifteen years by annually donating bicycles to children in and around the Sandhills of North Carolina and to date has donated over 10,000 bikes. |
