In 2012, the Idea House was a new project for the HBAF. The success of the project allowed the HBAF to replace reserve funds that were depleted during the economic downturn. It also promoted new home sales through its vast marketing and public relations campaign, bringing over 1,300 people to tour the home.  The Idea House is an excellent opportunity for members to showcase their goods and services.  In 2014, the HBAF built its second successful Idea House.
